This March and April Coed Lleol (Small Woods Wales) are hosting nine local Spring events to celebrate our thriving Actif Woods Wales programme. Taking place across Wales, these free events will include woodland workshops, tasty campfire cooking, inspiring stories of change and more. There will also be an opportunity for individuals and community organisations to share ideas and help shape the future of woodland health and wellbeing activities locally. Activities will vary in each local area, and may cover the themes of health and wellbeing, woodland skills and woodland conservation. Where possible activities will be co-led by Coed Lleol staff, partner organisations and existing Actif Woods Wales participants: Read more.

Previously we have run woodland gym groups and conservation groups in Treherbert.
Nico is passionate about mental health and believe that the outdoors and nature have a vital role to play in our mental and physical well-being. She is currently developing a partnership with the well-established ‘Welcome to our Woods’ in Treherbert and looking forward to supporting individuals to access and gain benefits from the outdoors. Our Actif Woods programme in Rhondda Cynon Taff helps individuals to meet new people, gain new skills and hopefully enhance their physical and mental well-being and nurture a love for the woods!
