Restoring the link between people and woodlands

Gwynedd is one of the new project areas for Actif Woods Wales and now has a new Woodland Mentor in post:

I’m Melissa Dhillon, Actif Woods Wales’ new Woodland Activity Mentor for Gwynedd.  I live in North Wales, and I have been working as a Forest School Leader and involved in woodland based projects for a number of years.  I’m really looking forward to meeting the groups and leaders that are currently involved in Actif Woods Wales projects, and am in the process of setting up new projects, in Gwynedd.  If anyone would like to get in touch, my e-mail address is –  actifwoodsgwynedd@smallwoods.org.uk I look forward to hearing from you; either as a partner organisation, participant or woodland activity provider!

Activities coming up include the Fire craft and a cuppa session on the 22nd Dec and the stakeholder meeting on the 8th January, to which all are welcome – book your place with Melissa and more details to follow soon.

You can also keep up to date with the latest project updates and organised activities in Gwynedd on the Gwynedd facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ActifWoodsGwynedd
