Coed Lleol support woodland activity groups in Anglesey as part of our Actif Woods Wales programme. We run woodland health and wellbeing activities with and for people:
Time: 10am – 3pm. Venue: Coed Llwynonn, LlanfairP.G., Ynys Mon, LL61 6DQ. The woodland entrance is opposite Plas Newydd, National Trust site. On the A4080. Bus stop ‘Llwynonn Lodge’ route 42.
This March and April Coed Lleol (Small Woods Wales) are hosting nine local Spring events to celebrate our thriving Actif Woods Wales programme. Taking place across Wales, these free events will include woodland workshops, tasty campfire cooking, inspiring stories of change and more. There will also be an opportunity for individuals and community organisations to share ideas and help shape the future of woodland health and wellbeing activities locally. Activities will vary in each local area, and may cover the themes of health and wellbeing, woodland skills and woodland conservation. Groups meet every Friday from 10.30 – 12.30 at a variety of locations, £2 per session. Please bring suitable clothing and footwear for woodland activities. Wheelchair friendly. Contact John Pritchard (below) by phone for more details.
Locations vary and include: Tyddyn Mon, Coed Llwynonn, Blaen y Coed, Coed Cyrnol, the Dingle, Newborough, Llyn Parc Mawr, Holyhead, Break Water Park, Penrhos Nature Park.
