Dyfi Biosphere Outdoor Health Project Officer

To develop, coordinate and pilot test an ‘Outdoor health and wellbeing’ programme of activities in the UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere area in collaboration with Coed Lleol (Small Woods Wales) and others. Bi-lingual communication & organisational skills, initiative and local knowledge required.

Part time. £23,569 pro rata. 10 months initially. Location: ecodyfi, Y Plas, Machynlleth

Hours of Work: Fixed Term contract (initially approx. 10 months) until 1st April 2020 but with possibility of additional 2 years

Ecodyfi and Coed Lleol are working together to develop a Dyfi Biosphere Outdoor Health Network. Outdoor activities for local people will be pilot tested, local organisations will be able to refer people, and local outdoor leaders will be running outdoor activities for health and wellbeing. This pilot testing project will feed into a funding bid for longer term activities in the local area.

I ddatblygu, cydlynu ac arbrofi rhaglen o weithgareddau ‘iechyd a lles awyr agored’ yn ardal UNESCO Biosffer Dyfi, mewn cydweithrediad a Coed Lleol (Small Woods Wales) ag eraill. Sgiliau dwyieithog cyfathrebu a threfnu, menter a gwybodaeth leol yn hanfodol.

Bydd y prosiect peilot hwn yn cyfrannu i gais am gyllid ar gyfer gweithgareddau hirdymor yn yr ardal leol.
