This will be held in Swansea from June 2012 to December 2012. Fee: £350. Non-residential.
Some concessionary places will be available at £250.
Accredited by the Permaculture Association (Britain).To be run over 6 weekends.

Course topics will include:

• The principles and ethics of permaculture
• The process and tools of permaculture design
• Organic growing, forest gardening, trees and practical woodland management
• An introduction to sustainable building
• Water collection systems, an introduction to renewable energy
• Creating a more sustainable lifestyle, non-land based design
• Urban permaculture

Learning methods will include films; practical work; observation exercises; group work; discussion and site visits. Students will be encouraged to share their own knowledge. Course content will be tailored to suit the needs of the participants wherever possible.
During the course you will be supported to complete two permaculture designs which will be presented at the final weekend.
Course venues will include Coeden Fach Tree Nursery, Bishopston, Swansea and others in the local area.
