Help! - How to use the Coed Lleol Website
Where do I start?
If you have a particular interest you are researching, try clicking on one of the 'tabs' at the top of this page, and you'll get an idea of all the different types of information that are on the website.
If you know what your looking for (eg. events or weblinks), click on the menu item at the left hand side of this page for an introduction to that section.
You could also try searching for something using the search box at the very top of the website.
If you're looking for something in a specific area of Wales, try using our maps by typing in your postcode, or the name of your town into the "Your Local Woods" search box at the right hand side of the page.
How do I add something to the website?
First you'll need to sign up for a free account, then simply login, navigate to the appropriate section (eg. Events) and click on the 'pencil' icon to add your information. You'll then be guided through the process step by step.
All submissions are checked before being published on the website, we'll do this as quickly as we can, but do bear this in mind and don't leave urgent submissions until the last minute!
Why aren't there more Categories?
We want the information on this website to be as easy to access as possible, so chose to split it up into five main categories, rather than having the information hidden away in endless sub and sub-sub categories!
Hopefully you'll enjoy browsing through the pages of information to find what your looking for, and our categories are broad enough that you might even stumble across something interesting and unexpected in the process!
Confused...?
If you aren't an internet wizz kid, or have any difficulties, we'd still be delighted to add your valuable woodland information to our website. Just visit the contact us page to found out how to get in touch with us in more traditional ways!
