The Purpose and Role of the Welsh Government Woodland Estate (WGWE)
In July 2018 Natural Resources Wales published a report on the Purpose and Role of the Welsh Government Woodland Estate. The report was launched at the Royal Welsh Show by Hannah Blythyn, Minister for Environment. Alongside the report 14 stories highlight the multiple environmental, economic, social and cultural well-being benefits generated by the Estate, including one about Coed Lleol and the Actif Woods Wales programme:
Planning Policy Wales Consultation
In light of the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, the Welsh Government are proposing to revise Planning Policy Wales (PPW). Small Woods Association submitted a response to the consultation here.

Creative Self Reflection in the Woods – a report by Zena Wilmot
This report is based on the experiences of the Actif Woods Aberystwyth group, who have taken part in woodland well-being sessions set up by Coed Lleol since 2011. Consultation Evidence This document includes information gathered from each of the areas that Actif Woods Wales proposes to work in from 2016-2018.
The Year 2 report covers the period April 2014-April 2015 and gives a summary of the main achievements at this mid point of the project.
