Forestry Commission Wales

The Places to go web site has a search engine which helps you to locate a Forestry Commission Wood near your town. With a few exceptions all Forestry Commission Woods have full public access. For group activities however, it is necessary to contact the FC Area Manager for written permission following the completion of appropriate risk assessments.

Cyd Coed Woods for All

This is a Forestry Commission Wales initiative which supports Community Woodland Groups in Objective One areas. The regional Cyd Coed Officers will be able to provide information about community woodlands local to you. The Community Woodland Groups themselves may have specific health related initiatives or undertake suitable woodland activities.
