The Severn Way, Britain's longest riverside walk, begins at the Source with access at the - Rhydybenwch Picnic Site - SN 857 869

  SJ174084 Woodland Trust 3.65 ha (9.02 acres)

A total of 3.24 ha Graig wood supports ancient semi-natural woodland dominated by oak, much of which is of coppice origin, partly resulting from substantial felling c. 1920. Ash is also represented with some sycamore, birch, beech field maple and crab apple. Several large old trees, a potential veteran oak, multi-stemmed coppice oak and field maple and an old ash stool are notable.
